Deck – Almost finished!

Here’s some shots of the deck, all that’s remaining is the railing on the stairs and the bench. The other privacy fence and trellis will come later…

Deck – Day 3

The joists and bracing are all bolted in now. Next up is the deck boards! Below is 4 pictures, first two are of the steps to the left of the sidewalk, but kind of centered to the door. The second two images are of the deck more in line with the sidewalk.

Deck – Day 2

After two days of work the contractors have the treated posts/beams in place. If all goes well, the deck will be done by Friday.

Deck – Steps Demolition

Before we could start on the new deck, a little demolition was required to the old concrete steps. This took a lot longer than I anticipated and in the end, we had to rent a jack hammer to finish things..

Bathroom almost done…

Thanks to my extremely hard working father-in-law, and the contractor he found for us, our main floor bathroom is nearly finished. Here are some pictures of the finished tile, floor, dry wall, etc.

We rented a dumpster over the weekend to clean out all the left over building materials, old kitchen cabinets, and other random stuff that has been collecting in our garage over the past 2 years…
